The 25 year anniversary volume of the Review was presented on July 2, 2025 with the selection of 25 essays published in the volume. The event took place from 5 pm to 8 pm at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne University at the Pantheon, Center (12 place du Panthéon,75005 Paris) in the Appartement Décanal (Dean’s Salon) right in front of the Pantheon Monument well-known to all Paris-lovers.
The event was organized but the Editorial Committee of the Review : Gilles Campagnolo, Emmanuel Picavet as co-Chief Editors. Thierry Martin (Emeritus) was excused) as well as Marc Pilkington (Burgundy University: Marc will speak at the next event on October 16, 2025 in Lyons) and Miriam Teschl. Christel Vivel addressed the assembly from Lyons as she shall host the next event for the 25th anniversary. Santiago Pinault (independent researcher) attended and presented a plan for digitalizing the essays that still remain hardly obtainable to date..
Afer Gilles Campagnolo and Emmanuel Picavet introduced the event, four contributors of the special issue addressed the audience in French and in English: : Claude Gamel and Jean Mercier-Ythier on location, Maurice Lagueu from Montreal and Elias L. Khalil from Qatar. Santiago Pinault displayed the Internet pages of the Review, clarifying the digital project for which the Chief editors called for funding: the 18 first volumes issued by the Review would require around 3000 € to make them easily accessible. If you are willing to help, this will be very welcome and you can reach the Review at revue.philo.eco@gmail.com Thank you so much in advance to help making possible that the first 25 years be followed by 25 more years!
