Perspectives on Wealth in the Philosophy of Seneca

By

Melania Cassan

Abstract

This study examines some aspects of Seneca’s conception of wealth and of the relationship to be entertained with it. We will show that Seneca, while fully adhering to the path already traced by the Stoic masters, does not shy away from developing the subject in a personal way, as usual.
